Katie Shultz

Owner/Director | Instructor
Katie has been dancing for 32 years and has studied many forms of dance. She began her journey in Schuyler, NE as a student and became an assistant/ instructor for her sisters who both owned the studio at one time. Katie was captain of her high school dance team and continued dancing long into college in Crete, NE. She graduated from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln with a BA in Psychology.  A twist of fate brought her back to Schuyler where she taught lessons at the local studio eventually opening Studio A in 2010. A second location in North Bend was opened in 2019. Katie enjoys seeing her students each week and watching them grow not only as dancers but as individuals.

Mollie Rambour

Instructor
Mollie began dancing at the age of 2 in Schuyler, NE at “Studio Of Dance”. Mollie danced at many different studios while growing up but spent most of her time with Barb’s School of Dance and Desiree’s Dancers in Columbus, NE. Mollie was part of the Midland University Warrior Wildfire Dance Team for two years and competed with the team at the national level. She graduated from Midland with an Art Education degree and continued to pursue a masters degree in school counseling from Wayne State College. Mollie is currently a K-8 School Counselor in Columbus. Mollie has been an instructor at Studio A Dance Academy since 2010 and looks forward to continuing working with Studio A in the years to come!

Stephanie Peacock

Instructor
Stephanie began dancing at the age of five in Bellevue, Nebraska at Jean Lanphier Dance Studio. While dancing there she studied tap, jazz, ballet, and lyrical. She also began teaching at Jean Lanphier Dance Studio throughout high school and her freshman year at Midland University. Stephanie was a member of the Midland University Warrior Wildfire dance team for four years, becoming captain her senior year. While on the dance team at MU Stephanie traveled to Daytona, Florida for four consecutive years to compete in the NDA National Competition, participating on teams that earned the title of National Champion three times. Stephanie is a Midland University graduate having earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Marketing and Public Relations, a minor in Journalism. Stephanie is excited to begin her fourth year teaching at Studio A!

Rachel Madej

Instructor
Rachel Madej has been dancing since age 7, when her mother noticed she wasn’t particularly “good” at sports and encouraged her to focus on one thing. Rachel began dancing in Schuyler in the 80’s and has studied ballet wherever God has taken her since then.  She has studied all forms of dance, but Ballet is her favorite.  She currently studies for her Cecchetti Professional Elementary V exam and enjoys the challenges that each level brings. Rachel has been an instructor at Studio A Dance Academy since 2018 and loves to share her experience and love for ballet with all students!

Cecchetti Teachers Exam Certificates for Grades I, II, III, and IV

Jacquie Theilen

Instructor
Jacquie was “hooked from the start” after her first recital where she performed with her two sisters.  She began dancing in Beatrice, NE at 5 years old studying tap, ballet, jazz, and gymnastics.  She continued after a move to Norfolk adding Hip Hop to her lessons.  For 2 years she was co-captain for the NorthEast Community College Jazz Hawks dance team where they performed half time shows for the Harlem GlobeTrotters.  Jacquie began her teaching career in Omaha instructing fitness classes at the YMCA and judging for competition team auditions before opening her own studio.  Jacquie has been with Studio A since 2014 and is happy to be a part of the Studio A dance family!
